Landloch Farm is proudly owned by Angie Gibson and Ron Allison. Our aim is to breed and train quality Hanoverian horses and Hungarian Vizslas on our 75 acres overlooking the Ottawa river and Gatineau hills. We purchased the property as the result of limited space to run our dogs and horses have been part of Angie's life since early childhood.
We are a small operation as we believe quality not quantity is best for all - animals and clients. We know our animals well as the dogs share our home with us and the horses are attended to 3 times daily.
Ron, retired from the military, only needed one day in the field with pointing dogs and he was hooked. A house companion who also points and retrieves game birds on land and water.... this became his new passion. Our first Vizsla, Liam, taught us both a great deal, Ron and he earned their first perfect score - in FDJ - there would be more perfect scores to come.
Landloch Kennel is thrilled to announce the long awaited litter from Skye and Seamus. Skye whelped 6 beautiful bundles of joy in the afternoon of 11 April 2012. The litter consists of 4 girls and 2 boys. Mom and babies are all doing extremely well. Serious enquiries can contact Landloch Farm and Kennel.
Hi everyone. Well the winter and spring have kind of melded together here at Landloch leaving us at the end of May wondering if summer will show up now. Didn't need spring anyway. We all wintered very well on our little piece of paradise by the Outaouais. The baby horses are growing into handsome young boys and we'll get some photos up as soon as it dries up.
So what's new with the dogs? Our new little guy, Grriffin the Jack Russell has joined the pack in a big way and is loving his new life as a Landlochian. Who wouldn't eh? He has a great relationship with Skye and the two love to play together. They even make make great bunkmates and kennel very well together. Actually little Griffin can share a kennel with any of the pack and be perfectly happy.
On May 7 the Ontario All Pointing Breed field dog club had their spring test in Norwood Ontario. Skye had a very successful day achieving 2 qualifying scores towards the 3 she will need for her Field Dog title. Seamus made a couple of valiant attempts at getting a qualifying score toward his Field Dog Excellent title but was thwarted, despite great efforts, on both tries. This is a really difficult test to pass and Seamus actually showed very well. We will continue to work toward our goals.
Hey everyone, we have a new member of the Landloch canine pack. He is a 4 year old neutered male Parson's Russell Terrier. Angie has wanted one since passing of her little Gulliver, ages ago. Grriffin came to landloch by way of a wonderful rescue society called Home Again. Grriffin was surrendered to Home Again by his breeder who is leaving the business. Awesome little dog, Griffin is, and has found true joy since joining the Landloch pack. He is learning more everyday and provides us with nothing but pure love and enjoyment. Welcome Grriffin!!!!

Our Elite Mare, a top Hanoverian broodmare by Wolkenstein II, thus, she is of particular interest for dressage enthusiasts. Her achievements to date are very impressive being Champion Foal at her Inspection, then moving on to be crowned Champion at her Inspection, next, Champion at her Performance test and then to top it all off, Champion overall in Canada. Wow!! In 2009 she produced a gorgeous black colt by Donatelli with a super type, fantastic movement and boy is he a cutie. Super friendly and smart. In 2010 she gave us a colt by Licensing Champion Soliman de Hus and she caught on her 'Foal Heat' with frozen semen!! Incredible. Both colts were delivered in the mid afternoon on their due dates. An extremely civilized brood mare.
Seismic was born June 23, 2010... the day the Ottawa area was rattled by a 5.6 earthquake. In fact the little fellow was barely out of the womb and still dripping wet when the earth shook! Thus, the name Seismic.
Seismic's lineage will undoubtedly carry him into the dressage ring to follow in the foot steps of ancestors: Sandro Hit, Weltmeyer, Donnerhall & Rosenkavalier.
A very friendly, curious colt with very correct conformation and natural uphill movement. A wonderful prospect for the future with movement, presence and type. He is a delight and has provided us with hours of entertainment.
Price: $14,900 CDN
